I liked this movie but was a bit disappointed.
First off, I love the cast. I'm a big fan of Insecure, starring Issa Rae and Y'Lan Noel (among others). I'm also a fan of basically everything LaKeith Stanfield has ever done. The rest of the cast is great and although I recognize most of them, I'll leave it to you to look them up, the other actors aren't what caught my eye in the trailer.

This movie deserved better marketing. Its a fun film with some great fight choreography. There are visuals in this film that are right out of some great DC games and comics. Its fantastic.
Top to bottom stellar cast. Johnson does a great job of both honoring and subverting the genre. I'm reticent to say more on the off chance I spoil any of the quite fun twists and turns.
If you liked Jurassic World, there is a good chance you’ll like this. If I were to rank it amongst all the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World is place it squarely in the middle behind Jurassic Park and the first Jurassic World.
