Just enraging to think of the signs/times this could have gone differently, no victim blaming whatsoever it’s just more upsetting to think about how we’re conditioned to accept the red flags, and how officers can see a case like that and let them just separate for a night without further questioning the situation. Not sure how the family feels in terms of it being respectful and accurate, which would definitely affect how I personally viewed it.

Super interesting/crazy look into the brainwashing and psychosis side of intense religion, it’s clear the dad is still in a grey area between reality and rubys crazy perception of reality. So horrific for those children though, thinking of them and hope they have unlimited access to therapy and a safe home.
