Silver Linings Playbook 2012
really really liked this. touches on heavy themes but somehow doesn’t become too much. and very beautifully done movie. acting was so good. makes sense to have been nominated for stuff - yet didn’t feel pretentious. cool. #✈️
and another thing - the role of women / maternal figures in general was interesting throughout this movie. and marital/parental dynamics. and mental health issues. ya.
for the record i kinda predicted exactly what was gonna happen throughout BUT not sure if i’m just incredibly smart and clairvoyant or if it was genuinely predictable? let me know what you think in the comments down below⬇️⬇️

loveeeee love. so good and so fitting to watch before the 50th anniversary episode!

this was so amazing. i felt like crying throughout the whole thing but that could be for a plethora of reasons of course. i loved the dialogue, it was so realistic. and i loved how the characters all were such interesting individuals, and their dynamics with one another were also pretty fascinating. this movie made me think a lot and though it was incredibly heavy, managed to maintain an air of lightness and love throughout.
