this movie is wacky as shit and I couldn’t get enough of it. I honestly can’t think of anyone other than robert pattinson doing this role he was so perfect as both wimpy mickey and psycho mickey. also, as to be expected from our king bong joon ho, just really fantastic anti-capitalist themes and sci-fi satire. it’s like ‘snowpiercer’ but 10x more funny, interesting, and heartfelt. I don’t think everyone’s gonna love this but I for sure did

this movie would’ve been so much better if there was more rom and less com. like the potential is there!!! i liked the set up and the actors, and I think the romantic leads could’ve had chemistry if they had more than 0.5 scenes together. unfortunately there was just a lot of corny/slapstick humor which just took time away from developing the story imo. still a really cute feel good movie and i’m convinced simone ashley is the most beautiful person on earth
