  watching this with my roommates and i made a comment about how david lynch always has people drinking coffee and it’s such a special trait of his works and someone pointed out how coffee is the thing that wakes us up out of our dreams. nobody has ever or will ever tell the kinds of stories he told in the way that he did and i’ll always be sad i didn’t discover him sooner, rip
