  I think you need to know and care about Bob Dylan to really love this film. This is probably an excellent film, but I just don’t have context for Bob Dylan to follow and appreciate. I BET ppl who know Bob Dylan think Timmy nailed the role.

  This is a visceral interpretation of how damaging beauty & body standards are as enforced by powerful men & cultural expectations. There’s a lot to unpack here - I felt the film underscored how isolating addiction is (shown here as a singular obsession w appearance), how disorienting body dysmorphia & mental illness are, & how some women self-police & reinforce the bonkers standards.
