Can’t stop thinking about Roy’s little froggy collection

This was visually one of the most soothing films I think I've seen. I loved the slow pace and the fact that there were so few cuts used meant every shot felt deliberate and effective. The lazy, slow-panning shots, the long lingering scenes shot with a single stationary camera, the sometimes obscured view of some scenes all echo the ghost's helplessness and the frustration of his lack of control when watching his world change around him. It makes you as the audience feel as if you're a ghost yourself, unobtrusively observing, stuck in the same silence as the ghost is often left in.
