  Pretty good and well made thriller with a great cast, but since this is a Brasil/USA co-production I guess they couldn't really show the role the US government had in the military coup and the horror of the dictatorship that followed
  For that and for kind of trying to paint the resistance to an authoritarian regime in the same light as their oppressors I'm taking some stars off (there's also reason that maybe I should have taken even more)

  Just realizing that Monkey D. Luffy met with Big Mom years before his journey to find the One Piece and become King of the Pirates, while on a quest to find Laputa, another legendary place and treasure.

  Here's to hoping the Academy will give the Oscar for Best Animated Feature to either Marcel or Del Toro's Pinocchio (that I still have to watch).

  Since 2022 is basically the year of stop-motion films with an unusual number of them, it only makes sense they give stop-motion the recognition it deserves and not just settle for the 3D CG movie that is a hit with kids (or is simply a new Disney film backed with a lot of money).

  Even though there's just a little hope for a win, I consider that the nomination at least is an obligation the Academy must fulfill.
