  this was fun, high school drama movie cliches set in Oz, but it was actually fun. though once the main characters meet the wizard, that's when the movie started getting a bit boring. i feel like the final act could be shorter, which would also help the 160 minute runtime of this movie.

  the songs were catchy though and i enjoyed the visuals. i was surprised by ariana grande in this, her comedy worked quite well.

  first two thirds of the movie were really funny, but the climax was too long and predictable. it was a treat watching the actors, they all did a great job. visually also very pleasing.

  first of all, loved kathy bates in this, what a fun performance.

  i wasn't very keen on the parts of the policeman investigation of the disappearance, had some issues with the believeability of his detective skills, but the rest was really intriguing. i was guessing all the time where it was going and when it all started making more and more sense, i was satisfied

  Mission: Impossible meets Indiana Jones - for younger audiences.

  yeah, if i had watched this when i was 12, i would be putting this on my top 10 list, but im not really 12 anymore

  some jokes landed, some didn't. some characters and dialogues annoyed the hell outta me. sean bean's character was both dumber and smarter than nic cage's character. in action sequences the editing was kinda confusing and i did not keep up with what was happening sometimes.…
