The U 2009
Just fine. It’s wild to me that this is a lot of people’s favorite 30 for 30 of all time, or even in those sort of conversations. UM’s run was obviously extremely impressive during this stretch of years and it’s compelling that they were able to pull kids from poor socioeconomic backgrounds and allow them to flourish both as athletes and people. The reputation the team had for its personalities and the way they expressed themselves within the broader culture…

Miller's Crossing 1990
Character wise, Caspar takes the cake, but this movie has multiple great ones. Both scenes in the woods are riveting. The plot meaningfully advances and unfolds another layer like every 5 minutes by introducing a new character, new motivation for a character doing x,y, or z,, or a new story wrinkle but it works for me and kept me on my toes. I love the roaring 20s abolition setting
