People will switch up their opinions in a few years or so, because the symbolism, the acting, the messages, the cinematography, nearly everything in this movie is near perfect. The animated sequence at the start encapsulates the whole movie, Arthur and Joker are 2 different people, the Joker only brings Arthur pain.
