Super super interesting. Have so many thoughts about each individual scene, but not sure what my overall opinion is? I think that specific moments were better than the movie as a whole.
Loved Romy’s shame spirals, very necessary and they tied nicely with her therapy flashes. Wish that was explored more though. Also wish Samuel had more backstory to understand his actions.
Hated her family so much. Let a girl live?? Rave scene was great.
I don’t know if anything groundbreaking was added to the discussion of gender, sex, and power, but it still touched on divisive topics which is always good.
