Not particularly an original concept for a film or anything. But pretty fun, builds suspension well and John Malkovich is just his freaky little self the entire way through.

Perfect Days 2023
This may very well be the ultimate feel-good film, and a special reminder of how powerful even the mundane tasks of life can feel if you let it. Koji Yakusho gives off such an emotion filled performance with only saying a handful of lines and that speaks volumes of how good his character is played. The closing shot is one for the ages and really encapsulates the point the film makes beautifully, a bold statement but really can be considered a faultless film.

Lots of tension, but falls victim to just repeating itself over and over and gets kind of tiresome for the audience in the end. Does hit some pretty compelling highs at certain scenes in the film and you think maybe it’ll redeem itself then it falls into the same continuous cycle.
Notable points include:
• Antonio Banderas who does a lot with not a whole lot of screen time
• A sex scene which completely devolves with it trying too…
