In the Mood for Love 2000
I though I knew you hat I was getting into with this but I was completely wrong. It’s a powerful story that is told slowly. The camera work and subtle body language make this film special, they’re implemented perfectly and the actors nail their characters perfectly. It’s crushingly sad at points but at the same time sweet, happy, exciting, and causes the viewer to think. I want to rewatch just to pick up on some more of the cinematography, visuals, and music cues. The more I think the more I’d consider this movie a great allegory for human life.
