I Saw the Devil 2010
This film is on another level completely. I can’t even count all the shots, scenes and sequences that blew me away. Kim’s reserved yet deeply emotional take on grief regarding his protagonist is something that’s haunting, and almost too relatable at times.
I do not believe that there has been a better written psychopath for the silver screen then Jang Kyung-Chul. Anton Chigurh is a close second.
