The narration was really good, it reminded me of goodfellas or eternal sunshine in a strange way. I’m sure people have talked about it but what Robert Pattinson does with his voice in this movie is so sick, he’s definitely the best part of the movie. the music also worth noting, it really helps the pacing and not making you feel that run time.

The Robert Eggers paradox is that if you watch his movies in the theater, then you can’t understand half of the movie without subtitles. but if you wait to watch them at home for access to subtitles, then you can barely see the screen because all of his movies are so damn dark and use natural light and shit. so the paradox is that you either get one or the other, and you can never get both.
