Lady Bird 2017
It was interesting watching this film as someone who’s a deep lover of Greta Gerwig’s ‘Little Women’. She really has a very familiar tone to her films from the casting similarities all the way down to the pacing of the film and beautiful dialogue exchanges between characters.
Although it’s interesting this film didn’t quite hit home the same way little women did, I feel as though the way Gerwig writes is better suited for period pieces and romance because sometimes the dialogue feels like it belongs in Little Women but that might just be my association with her style.
