  For someone with such a neutral face Ryan Gosling sure conveys a lot through expression. Also, the lack of exposition and minimal dialogue intercut with graphic violence/action scenes made them feel more jarring and realistic. Definitely takes its place among other great LA noirs.

  See, Jason Momoa really should have just waited until they cut the tiny door hole and he could’ve fought them one at a time.
   And the doctor’s character should have been too smart to rip the rug out from under the entire operation based on some loose promise from a dude who floats around like a 450 lb cobra.
  And what exactly spice ‘was’ could have been established a lot better. Google hooked me up after the show.
