This is unfortunately incredibly disappointing, and I truly believe it’s a WB issue and not a Bong issue. There was a LOT changed from the book, so I definitely don’t recommend reading before watching, because you will just be utterly disappointed. The overall plot has a lot of tweaks (spoiler alert, they will not be adapting the sequel!!) and none of them really make much sense, which are clear signs of multiple rewrites. I seriously feel bad for Anthony Mackie. He deserves this role and he deserves love as Captain America, but he’s not going to get any from this movie. There’s a lot wrong. No major issues. Incredibly average movie. Definitely a downgrade from the original but there isn’t anything glaringly bad from my POV.

I mean come on, this movie is fantastic from start to finish. It doesn’t get much better. The visuals and the music are disneys best, and the story is enjoyable regardless of your age and interests.

If you don’t think this is the best Disney movie ever made you are simply wrong

This movie doesn’t hit as hard when you have a Kevin hart ad screaming at you every 20 minutes, but still safe to say that I love so many aspects of this movie despite it being so bleak and depressing. The entire theme centered around folk music, including some absolutely banging songs, paired with the stellar cast highlighted by the acting jobs of Isaac and Mulligan keeps this movie as an all-timer for me. This is the 4th(?) time I’ve…
