This movie is silly as hell. I love how unserious it is. Sometimes i put it on just for the vibes in the background. As a former nerd it holds a special place in my heart.

Crooklyn 1994
I feel like Crooklyn is one of the best depictions of a neighborhood in a movie. I love that so much attention is placed not just on the Carmichaels but also unnamed characters along with buildings and the day to day activities. It feels like summertime, and I find so many similar days to my own childhood in this movie.

I don't know why this movie hits me so hard but I love it. It looks beautiful for an 80's animated movie and the scenery is so detailed and well crafted. The action is top tier, especially considering so many movies these days are so deeply inspired by this one (just look at the bike drag scene).
