Risky Business 1983
The film spends way too long being super horny and building up to the actually interesting stuff. The interesting stuff then happens and the films ends.

Very weird film. Not sure why they made the characters so creepy looking because imo the appearances of some of them don’t really suit their personalities. The creepy vibe sort of runs through the whole film and makes what should be a sad but comforting film kind of unsettling. It is also not helped by the random musical numbers which make it feel a bit more Tim Burton than I would have liked.

The Sting 1973
Continuing going through heist/con films and this is the best I’ve seen so far. Fantastic plot which, although pretty straightforward, manages to keep you on your toes with lots of twists and turns. There are also some great acting performances, especially from the two leads, as well as sets which feel authentic, vibrant and interesting.
Add to this some great music and funny moments and you’re left with a charming and funny classic caper.Translated from by
