This was incredibly chaotic. Another film with Brad Pitt with a phony accent, but he did show a bit more vulnerability this time. Margot Robbie was great, still need to figure out how to cry on cue with full control of my tear ducts. It was heart-wrenching at times and vulgar at times, but if I were to watch this again, it would be in 3-4 business weeks. It was a lot to handle.
I loved this movie a lot more than I thought! Definitely action-packed and once it starts, it doesn't stop. It does give a lot more context to the theme parks I went to when I was a kid - loved it :) I loved seeing the animatronics/special effects from the 90s, it still has a magic that movies lack nowadays. Also, Jeff Goldblum - a snack, and I didn't realise that Joseph Mazzello was Tim! Ariana Richards was definitely a standout too.
Confused is one way to out it. French director and writers writing a Spanish musical based on Mexican experiences of the cartel ._. The most outrageous line for me was “he smelled of mezcal, mint and guacamole” - it was giving let me choose the most stereotypical aspects of Mexico and inject them into a song.
There were some catchy hooks but overall I think the cultural and social awareness was lacking.
