  The side of the Indian film industry I respect. I had been wanting to watch it for a long time, knowing that this was something I would absolutely love. The storytelling in this film is splendid. And so are the songs that contribute to the story, a pleasant surprise. It has lovely cinematography and a series of performances. And for those of you who liked Charlie Chaplin, you might like this too.

  4th watch. One of those where you get something new each time. Surprised how relatable it gets to what Louise says in the end. To know a story from start to end and yet to still embrace it.

  Arrival to me is one of those which I re-watch for the storytelling. It's different. It's something that I need when I feel too out of place.

  "A journey about growth, discovery and confidence"

  One of my favourite Bollywood films (ironically, a good portion of it was not filmed in India). An enjoyable ride with good performances by Kangana Ranaut and Rajkumar Rao. The movie stands out and keeps your attention. It's a bumpy one. The music is nice, the cinematography is nice, the small moments are nice and in the end, you find yourself having witnessed someone go through change because she allowed herself to be spread her wings, despite her insecurity and discomfort. Which basically makes you feel weird. In a good way.
