Woman of the Hour 2023
I didn't expect to be so impressed by this movie. Completely heartbreaking, and I can't imagine how difficult it must have been to direct this. Every woman struggles with the fear of something happening to them if they are caught off-guard. I hope this message reaches the large audience it deserves.

I think something that indicates how incredible this movie is, is how difficult it is to describe, and why it deserved as high a rating as I could give it.
Look Back is an adaptation of the one-shot manga of the same name by Tatsuki Fujimoto.
Fujimoto is an incredible artist, which we can see in the original version, and the animation has managed to capture his style beutifully.

Perfect Blue 1997
Love that Black Swan has lower ratings (a movie that plagiarized this one) bc Perfect Blue is clearly superior. I don't think a movie can stir you up the same way this psychological thriller does. If you enjoyed it I recommend checking out Paprika by the same author (the movie Inception plagiarized it as well), it has incredible animation and they are some of my favourite films.
