Parasite 2019
Boon Joon-ho’s masterful execution of this film is breath-taking. Some see it as a perfected and high budget version of one of his films ‘Barking dogs never bite (2000)’. The social satire uses symbolism and aesthetics to visualize the class gap in South Korea and the different mindsets each class are indoctrinated to possess. I loved this film and look forward to watching it again and analyzing the many details that cannot be fully appreciated after just one watch.Highly recommend for film fans.

The Hunchback of Notre Dame 1996
An amazing Disney classic with a impactful narrative of minorities and relationships with religion. This film is filled with a theatrical sound score of masterfully made and emotional songs. The sinister undertones of the film, driven by antagonist Frollo makes the film enjoyable to watch for all ages. The lovable protagonists teach love and acceptance, in the beautiful backdrop of Paris, France. The classic 2D animation style is timeless and has aged well. However, I believe some aspects of the film might be disturbing to small children and should be under supervision.
