  Drinking to increase the quality of life.
  Falling into alcoholism.
  When mads was crying in the first scene in that restaurant with his friends i teared up. To me he is depressed and i saw myself in him and i teared up.
  I would lose myself in alcohol too if i was in his place. Feeling like he is only a ghost of his past self, leftovers or fragments of a human being and not whole.

  It felt like a fusion of kids, gummo, and mid 90's. All of which are in my opinion very good movies. The difference is this one is not, a movie but a documentary and these are real people. I really liked the rawness of it, how the camera would move a lot when they were children, the subtle changes in filming or cinematography, i don't know what word to use lmao.
  I think of rewatching it tonight somehow i haven't gotten enough of it.
