Trengellick Rising 2023
Low budget Cornish the lighthouse.
The acting and sound are understandably quite bad but the concept of a film entirely in Cornish is awesome and the location is so perfect. I didn’t know “wrecking” was a thing and that’s another thing to add on to the, in my opinion, very interesting history of Cornwall.
Unfortunately the plot / storytelling did rather confuse me. But, to all with the youtube app, 30 minutes of free time, and an interest in Cornish culture, I recommend!

Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl 2024
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
I think this lacked some of the charm of the originals, notably “The Wrong Trousers” which was also on today. Something to be expected as a series goes on.
You can’t help but feel a bit bad for Gromit. He’s out here doing all he can for Wallace, yet Wallace never seems to hear him out and chose to satisfy his ego with his inventions rather than to give Gromit some proper appreciation.
Of course, it took Gromit nearly losing…
