Paddington in Peru 2024
It's a great film its own right and should score 4 stars if that was the lense we were watching it. But following Paddington 2 (literal 5 stars) you can't help compare them. It's almost like you should watch Paddington 1, Paddington 3 and then Paddington 2 to appreciate each film.

First 2/3 of the film was great. The concept really highlights how our society has become obsessed with looking and living young. I feel like there is a pretty big plot hole for me, it isn't clear what Demi is actually getting out of the deal? She doesn't remember and doesn't get to bask in her younger self's success so why does she continue? I appreciated the acting and the world created around Demi. The last 1/3 is nuts, and perhaps I'm just not enough of a filmy to appreciate as much - the last 1/3 is giving Beau so Afraid (IYKYK). Still a great watch!

Loved this adaptation, paid homage to the original story and the 1996 film but has it's own twist. The cast were brilliant and didn't leave you wanting!

Bingeable, and a good premise. Keagan acts well but I wonder if she is best at this kind of rule, could she do a completely different character I'm not sure. As it goes on it, falls down unfortunately. Worth the watch, gripping but plot a bit of a list down by the end.
