The Souvenir 2019
I really like how the boyfriend is genuinely an unlikeable character who is not romanticised which created a realistic perspective of someone in her life watching as an outsider . This beautifully reflected her opinion on films such as psycho where you only see the aftermath of the damage not the damage itself. Acting and style of the film was well done however the pace and progression of the film was just too slow for me resulting in the low rating.
