my eyes were closed during half of this but this makes me think of the guy i dated who almost exclusively watched horror movies because they “express things that other movies can’t” umm i’m sure there’s another way to express this 😭

had so much potential but fell short
it tried to do the understated indie thing through its cinematography while having a cliche romcom plot/tropes and i LOVE both separately but not paired together. an understated shooting style like this should be paired with riveting dialogue (i.e. before sunrise) and a cheesy romcom plot line should be paired with some spunky cinematography and close shots of YEARNING
