Good Grief 2023
Really, really wanted to love this movie, and it took me a while to figure out what was missing. I think the message was to go all in on grief - but the main character, the widower, actually does a pretty good job of that. He’s in therapy, he cries, he processes his feelings. He lets his friends support him - all in all, a pretty healthy grief process. His friend, a dramatic costume designer, has the more interesting arc.…
