my heart breaks for both of them but i cannot stop thinking about jack. to ache and yearn for something he desperately wants but cannot have, for it to be within arms reach but never fully attainable, to die without truly knowing how it felt. obviously the same goes for ennis minus the death lol but i don't know i just resonated more with jack. i do have my qualms abt this movie but god theyre over shadowed by how heavy my heart is
