I kinda liked it. Imaginative, at least, and silly. chalamet didn’t really get the insanity of wonka across but that didn’t really bother me since I’m not super invested in the lore. anyway, scratch that, reverse it! they rlly should’ve had someone with actual dwarfism to play the Oompa Loompa tho, Benedict Cumberbatch looked weird

felt like a girl with identity issues who was a little narcissistic with a mean mother. there was almost nobody likable in this movie and I genuinely don’t think it said anything. ladybird didn’t seem to face any struggle, and it didn’t seem like she was actually gonna be judged for living a fairly standard lower middle class life. literally everyone had major issues except her. I thought Timothy chalamet could save it but then they named him Kyle and made him an ass. why are y’all relating to this girl she’s kind of a bitch and not even in an entertaining way 😭
