Being a musician myself, the thought of losing my hearing has crossed my mind many times over. I deeply relate and empathize with how Rueben is feeling. You have to change and adapt and with his situation, it’s extremely difficult while also trying to seek the positive in everyday life. Riz Ahmed is one of the most underrated actors of today and his performance is amazing along with the supporting cast. The rise of deaf culture in movies is a big perk in my opinion as well.
