Enjoyed this for the wrong reasons, because it is so obvious that William Friedkin discovered the synthesizer like 3 months before shooting this film and decided to use it for every. single. sound. in this movie! SUCH a product of the 80s, but a blast and a very happy 3.5 stars!

Goodbye, Dragon Inn 2003
I was regretting my decision to watch a late-night movie when biking to Kriterion in the POURING rain, but the setting was actually perfect!! In a sold out screening room, while warming up with a beer and feeling the vibrations of the music playing in the bar downstairs. This felt like a breath of fresh air after the brutalist + the person next to me smelled remarkably nice which for some reason I feel the need to mention here. Now writing this review in bed with a hot water bottle and feeling cozy, good day today!
