a beautifully melancholy film. an impossible love story filled with voyeurism, obsession, betrayal, and death. sensual scenes accompanied with beautiful music almost made me get lost in the scene, feeling the emotion radiate off the screen.
an uncomfortable and eerie feel is present throughout the film. and yet it works perfectly.
the boxing scene was perfect.
i never would have expected to feel sympathetic for the main character.
