this movie was awesome. idk if it was trying to be funny but it really truly is. more horror movies should have their final girl beat the absolute snot out of the villain. she hit him with a chair and set him on fire! good for her! a little slow in the middle i think, but that’s fine. it was often hard to understand (especially the ending) but i feel like that’s the point, so it works. good movie overall

a horrific film in both a good and bad way. definitely draws out its violence against women in an unsavory way, but the tone of the film is so strong and eerie i can’t help but be a little impressed. clearly not a professional or high budget film, but that almost makes the tone even stronger. the poorly focused shots, choppy editing, and artifacts of film decay all add to the off-putting feeling of the film.
