i’m usually not crazy about spy thrillers because they’re just not my thing, but i really liked this!! very compact scripting, fun characters. love that george’s whole thing is being really loyal to his wife and vice versa. i love cate blanchett here but oddly enough, i don’t think the film focuses on her enough for a narrative that’s supposed to revolve around kathryn AND george’s relationship / work-life balance. i would have loved more insight about her. i just love the women in this movie Period, lots of very good and compelling motivations which i like to see!! i had a nice time :)
