Letters from Iwo Jima 2006
The battle for Iwo Jima Island from the Japanese soldiers' perspective. Despite air and marine bombings by the US army, whereas the Japanese soldiers had no help in the air or on the sea, their aim was to never surrender for the glory of the Empire. A battle with very few prisoners, the Japanese soldiers fighting until their death. Their letters, never sent, describe fighters full of bravery, but also fear, misunderstanding as regards their opponents they believed to be cowards... A useless sacrifice of 20,000 men for the Emperor and Japan. A great Clint Eastwood film.

No need to be a biker to enjoy this movie.
It is based on a book of photographs taken in the late 60's, early 70's .
We are in the Midwest of the USA and follow a group of bikers (the Vandals) for whom nothing is more important than riding a bike. Even death is acceptable if it happens on a motorcycle.
