Isle of Dogs 2018
Never actually watched much from Wes Anderson but as a big animation enjoyer I decided to give it a try. I dont like this style of stop motion but in this movie it just works.
I really liked the visuals, the switch to drawn animation in some places and the concept of the viewer not being able to understand the Japanese dialogues, as it's a rather different approach than just translating it all in the subtitles.

I'm not that film expert so take my opinion as a grain of salt but this was beautiful. The ambience, the colors and even that "corny" music is perfect.
To be young and to be in love. The push and pull of those two just breaks me. The actors interpreted the intensity of this with so much passion I could feel myself there.
