every now and then i'll watch a movie and laugh at every joke, get emotional at every sad beat, and just feel every single thing the movie intended me to feel
whatever this movie was trying to achieve it did it with me. what a great, classic movie
my only problem with this movie is that we don’t actually get to know the characters at all? like why do they all love eachother other than being childhood friends, writing partners, etc
it feels kind of “they were there ig” for both of them
my friends all know im a movie adaptation of a book hater, because how you can you butcher something that already exists and is perfect?
well, this movie was perfect. my problem with Paper Towns is that they shied away from the actual plot just to make it fun and cinematic, but this movie was made by someone who understood the book and loved the book and even though it had to make cuts, it didnt feel butchered
amazing performance by Isabela and Cree, i was so impressed and its hard for a lover of the original source material to be impressed
