I absolutely loved it.... until the last 30 minutes.
The soundtrack was incredibly well crafted for this movie, the light was a gorgeous aid for the visuals, and Thomasin McKenzie and Anya Taylor-Joy were both perfect for their roles. I loved the use of mirrors and reflected body movement throughout- a feat I don't doubt took many takes.

okay hear me out: pattinson’s performance is outlandish and outstanding, the technical filmmaking is great, the little creepers were so damn cute, and i laughed out loud. but this one lost the plot in its last act, and introduced too many narrative strings that couldn’t possibly all be tied well. its satire is a little too on the nose, though bong joon-ho isn’t necessarily known for subtlety, so maybe that’s on me. i’m a little disappointed but would watch again just for the love story and rob’s weird little accent
