There aren't things you haven't seen before in the movie. I mean, you know the characters are going to bond at some point, and people will grow to care about each other. That's a given. However, how we get there is what makes the film feel fresh, entertaining, and every bit as good as any flick made back in the day. A very thoughtful, substantial, and beautiful movie. A rare gem in today's superficial, gimmicky moviemaking world.
