Normally when I watch these type of bad bad movies I still find ways to enjoy it. May it be the poor acting that is funny or the funny editing choices. But with this movie it was just shamefully bad. I didn’t enjoyed one bit. Watching this in cinema on the big screen was the icing on the cake, I really wanted to leave.

I'm Still Here 2024
I don’t think I really got some parts of the movie.
First: Why did only his family got tortured and not the man who was also helping their father? I know that the woman (teacher of the children) was caught on the airport, but why did they killed the father and not them?
Also why didn’t they told us more about the work of the father, what did he actually do. Sad they didn’t hinted his work more at the beginning of the movie. Instead of being a surprise, because for the most part I thought he was the bad guy.

Not a movie that’s super different then the other BM movies, just simple horror flicks to watch at night with a group of friends for the laughable scares.. It’s not a terrible movie, the acting is great especially Abbotts even tho I did not enjoy his POV, it made it less scary imo. Why choose purple colors if you could’ve made it night vision/darker?

I’ve never laughed so much in cinema’s, I don’t know if it’s the screenwriting or Mark Ruffalo’s acting. The casting is so well done, I really enjoyed Toni Collets character as well, such a clingy woman hahaha
Will definitely see again, such a pretty movie. OH and the title card I KNEW it! Such a fun and smart timing.
