  i waited way too long to watch this, everything holds up extremely well (for better or worse). blown away by the storytelling and art direction. this movie is just so fucking cool.

  The Dead Thing 2024

  it does some things well, but i just couldn’t get fully on board for this. this also heavily focuses on SA and DV, so if that’s a trigger for you please be aware (i was not and wish i knew)

  i love the use of like bright red 60’s era blood in this. made the gore more comedic and fantastical. the sense of humour in this franchise has only improved.

  although there were some scenes i didn’t really care for as much, overall i had a great time in the theater watching this.  we definitely had people leave our theater during different kills. i would definitely watch this again, i think there’s something special about the direction this franchise is going and i can’t wait to see more!

  also, what a supercharged moment seeing Tom Savini ♥️
