The Electric State 2025
did i miss the first 30 minutes of this movie? yes
does it matter? i mean maybe.
The Electric State has a star studded cast, robots, story of companionship and all the right components of a great movie. however, its predictable, we have seen this movie re skinned as something else several times before.
the color grading however is a stand out to me and the robot designs are kinda cool.
its an easy watch to pass time or watch with the fam, or a date as you don’t need to he super invested to digest whats going on.

Whiplash 2014
This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.
theres a nuance to this movie that i cant place if i'm supposed to watch it at the surface of what it portrays as a expo on music and an artist ambition.
first off the color grading and filler scenes paint a picture of the world in an artist lens the plainness of windows or avant garde shots of ice all of these minuscule things make up the world building for whiplash
i think this movie is a crash…
