Aftersun 2022
Definitely one of my favourite movies. It perfectly describes how us, as daughters or sons experiment this mental process in which we get to slowly understand our parents. Love the realistic it is, it’s not the typical super dramatic film that inevitably makes the audience cry, Aftersun is simple, it’s close to our own reality and that’s what hurts. This film is so personal to me as I experienced something really similar after i saw it and everything made sense.…

Personally while i was watching the film a felt SO understood, everything made sense. The story it’s perfectly detailed, it’s just beautiful. Love the final message it gives, i couldn’t help but cry. It was like it was the exact message i just needed to hear, i felt so relieved. I would say it’s one of the best movies pixar has ever made.
