  it’s a beautiful take on humanity and its flaws. bella’s story of discovery is intimate and strong despite being the object of control of several men. you see her metamorphosis into someone who puts power in her own decisions. she learns what it is like to be a human and more importantly, a woman. 

  yes, it might be a rather one dimensional take on womanhood and feminism, but there is so much to love. the cinematography and color palette is phenomenal and emma stone is marvelous as always in front of the camera

  i could see that she was deeply wounded person emotionally with probably little to no self worth, but there definitely could have been a bit more dimension to anora’s character (maybe in terms of her background), however, this was truly a perfect mix of tragedy, comedy, and romance. and the final scene just pulled everything together. the break after seeming to be strong throughout the whole situation. how my heart just aches so much for her…
