like coraline and inside out for adults and it’s also really trans and has an unexpected beautiful lesbian love story in its core but it’s the most batshit bizarre insane movie ever with a 6 second long david fincher cameo. five stars

the scariest part about this film is that this film stock is discontinued and the coloured filter was custom made so i won’t be able to replicate this same exact green grading ever

    bong joon ho sauce recipe
cook and eat at once, best served fresh

3 oz cartoonish villains from corporate settings
1 cup of freaky misunderstood creatures, minced
    1/2 cup of inhospitable environments
    2 handfuls of social criticism
    1 tsp outcast protagonist
    a dash of theatrics

    enjoy the ride 🙏

stunning gorgeous beautiful film todd haynes please make music movies again…

a mosaic collage of bob dylan segmented and reimagined as different people was such a smart move and the best way to encapsulate an artist who was constantly changing and unafraid of staying true to himself

legend!! maybe i’m biased because i’ve been a fan for ages but she really is set apart from the rest of her generation’s greatest actresses on a whole other league of her own.
i was transfixed from beginning to end, and what a stunning little film. the locations!! the cinematography!!! scotland’s northern isles look so beautiful i i love when you can tell a film loves its country.
there’s a scene near the end that’s a new favourite moment of cross cutting editing i’ve seen in a longggg time
