January continues to be the worst month for horror films. Left over films that couldn’t come out in time last year so we get them now. This was a 90 minute movie that felt like a 3 hour slog.

Everyone is head over heels for A24, but I feel like no one gives Neon credit anymore. Got invited to a press screening of this tonight and was throughly pleased with the acting, dialogue and cinematics. It’s not for everyone, but if you know the director and producers work you’ll enjoy it.

A predictable romance story but my god Garfield and Pughs characters are so well written and portrayed! I was nervous about a follow up to Brooklyn but this one was just as high of quality as Brooklyn.
